EVA CUDAK - I was born in Slovakia, a most beautiful European country, where mountains and traditions are combined in an outstanding environment of love and beauty.
My parents encouraged me to believe in myself and to fulfill my dreams. Since I was a little girl I was driven to be true to myself and I have always known what I wanted and how to achieve it. I've been interested in drawing and producing my own designs since an early age. Growing up in a middle class family afforded me the opportunity to purchase and experiment with my own fabrics. I know that with my college degree and my enthusiasm, I was ready to take on the world. My country was going through a major transformation and the "Velvet Revolution" brought democracy back to our country. I decided to embark in a new adventure and headed to London to improve my English skills. I took a short trip to Miami, where I met and married my husband and settled down in Ft. Lauderdale.
My need for creativity and to improve myself has forced me to seek additional education where my intellect can continue to be challenged. Seduced by the Fashion Industry, I signed-up with The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and graduated in September 2008.
I believe that to work at doing what you absolutely enjoy is the key to success. The best way to predict the future is to create it

BETSY MORALES – I was born in October 3rd, in Brooklyn, New York to Puerto Rican parents. I spent half of my life in Puerto Rico as a child then at age 14 my parents moved to Waterbury Connecticut looking for a better life for us. There I lived 17 years and after a very difficult period in my life, I decided to move back to the place I loved and felt safe growing up, Puerto Rico. Always looking for opportunities I moved to Florida in 2003 and then in 2010 I decided to look for new horizons which landed me in Gothenburg, Sweden. There I spent three years learning the culture, people and the language. Sweden is a place I truly love and hope to one day move back to. I have always had a thirst for new experiences, I love to travel and learn new things; some of the places I have visited include Paris, Amsterdam, Philippines and Spain which has given me a broader outlook in life and has strengthen my passion for art and music. While traveling through Europe and the Caribbean I have had the opportunity to admire the world’s most treasured pieces in art history like the Mona Lisa, Michael Angelo’s David and to view art work from Frida Kahlo, Dali, Goya, Leonardo DaVinci, and many others well known artists.
The oldest of four and a twin, I had a need to be heard and understood and at an early age I turned to art and music. I knew I had a voice to be heard and seen so I spent hours writing songs and poetry, drawing, sketching, designing my outfits and day dreaming about my future as an artist. At the age of 10 I was enrolled in private piano lessons, and became a member of my school’s local band playing the flute. My interest in wanting to discover and experience new things in the field of art and music never ceased and I was always looking for what was new and exciting. I participated in beauty pageants and held the title of Miss Puerto Rico of Waterbury 1989.
I designed my evening gown a presentation outfits. Pageants also opened the door for my singing career and I worked for over 15 years as a performer singing and writing songs. I worked as a radio personality and a Master of Ceremony for local events in the State of CT. I knew that I had been blessed with a special gift and felt the need to share and help others which motivated me to help young new local artists. I produced and coordinated local events for children and teenagers. I trained young girls that were entering the world of pageants and modeling.
In my pursuit of growth I enrolled in art classes at the Escuela de Artes Plasticas de Puerto Rico and also at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico where I concentrated in acting, dance (jazz) and singing lessons. I worked on several musical recordings which thru the years have brought me many blessings and opportunities. While living in Ft Lauderdale, Florida I decided to continue my educational enrichment and enrolled in the Ft Lauderdale Art Institute, I always felt very passionate and drawn to fashion and thought it was a natural choice and in 2007 I graduated Magna Cum Laude receiving my degree in Fashion Design.
Thru the years I have learned never to be afraid of challenges or to give up on who I am as a designer/artist. I have a need, a thirst for creating beauty and for sharing my passion with others! For me designing and creating art is a way of expression and freedom, to let my voice be heard.
